Take me out to the ball game!

Anna Kate just finished her second season of t-ball and had a blast! She had the same coach that she had for her soccer team, Coach Ashley, who is also the mom of her good friend Paisley. Daddy also helped as assistant coach. In her end-of-the-season letter, Coach Ashley gave Anna Kate the nickname "Perfect Form" for her precision and attention to detail in every area: batting, throwing, catching, etc. Now, that's not to say that she was never found digging in the dirt during the game, but when she was focused, she was very focused! And she was definitely MVP in our book! Truly, though, she is quite the little slugger and enjoyed every bit of every game. Here are a few pictures to remember the season.

Chatterbox Ellie!

Eleanor has developed quite the vocabulary in the last few months. She has gotten extremely adept at communicating with all of us. I guess she has to work hard to get a word in edgewise with Anna Kate and Caroline around here! Here are her words at 16 months:

Mother's Day 2015

So we bought a new computer a few weeks ago (our old one was dying), and now it's time for me to do a little bit of blog catch-up and hopefully keep up with sharing stories and pictures of life with our three girls. So here's a quick picture post of me and my girls on Mother's Day. I am so thankful that God chose me to be their mommy.

Luke let Anna Kate get a kid-friendly cookbook from the library and pick any dessert recipe she wanted. She chose this 4-layer concoction and was VERY proud of it. It had a layer of chocolate chip cookie, a layer of chocolate frosting, a layer of chocolate cake, a layer of vanilla frosting, and sprinkles on top!
