Chatterbox Ellie!

Eleanor has developed quite the vocabulary in the last few months. She has gotten extremely adept at communicating with all of us. I guess she has to work hard to get a word in edgewise with Anna Kate and Caroline around here! Here are her words at 16 months:

Mama
Dada
Bobo - belly button
Bapa - backpack
Ball
Titta - sister
Mok- milk
Mo - more
Nana - banana
Dow - down
Go
Hat
Shahs - shoes
Tee - teeth
Cack cack - quack quack
Buh - book
Me - this usually means "Give it to me."
Pah - potty
Puh - puffs (the treats she gets for going on the potty)
Bay Bay - baby doll
Bink - blanky
DowTa - downstairs
Ch Ch - Cheese
Toes
Nack - snack
Cah - call (anytime she sees a phone)
Sauce - applesauce
Owside - outside
Bah bah - bye bye (with quite the southern accent)
Nah nah - night night (see above)
Pock - Pocket (what she calls her favorite book - "There's a Wocket in my Pocket")
Rocka - rock (like to go to sleep)
Moo
Baa
Woof Woof
Maa (Goat sound)
Eeeow (meow)

Here are a couple videos!

The first one starts with me reading Eleanor her favorite book, but she decided she'd rather do a little talking to the camera.

  1. She's so smart! And don't make Ellie say oink! She's scared of oink!
