First Day of School 2016

Heritage Christian Academy's 2016-2017 academic year officially began on August 17. The girls were very excited for their first days of 1st grade, 4K, and 2K!

Daddy got up early and made the girls a special breakfast of waffles and bacon!



Then we did our traditional first day pictures!

Then we started school!

Preschoolers worked on busy bags while AK started her copywork.

Our homeschool curriculum looks pretty similar to last year - Math-U-See for math, Charlotte Mason methods for literature/handwriting/poetry/art, Apologia science (Flying Creatures, this year), violin, but we are also adding Story of the World for a more formal history curriculum. So far, we've had a wonderful year!
